Today best ratio time/rewards in WvW are season, objectives capture and fights farm. The least rewardings are weekly out of season wins (non-existents) and siege building/upgrades/repairs/defence. It induce a real inadequation between players investment and PPT. I think the latest are the ones to reward more both in terms of WXP, Karma, etc. So that people efforts are made towards the real match goal and lastly, reflects on the server ranking.

But But But u get 3 more chests if u win, 2 if u place second and 1 if u place 3rd so what is ur problem? Also u get lot of stuff from defending, capping( 3s and 500 karma + champion bag) etc. so 1 tower is about +10s for you :P

I’ll answer for the sake of the topic and people who do not catch the irony behind the troll :

But But But u get 3 more chests if u win, 2 if u place second and 1 if u place 3rd so what is ur problem?

The rewards mentioned concerns only season tournaments, who do not even take place for even half the year :

Also u get lot of stuff from defending, capping( 3s and 500 karma + champion bag) etc. so 1 tower is about +10s for you :P

Looking at the capture table in comparison proves capture 5 times more rewarding than defending. Add to that the fact that the time spent to defend efficiently is also 5 times superior to the time required to capture… Yeah that’s right, capture is 25 times more rewarding than defense!

Again “forcing me” to adopt the blob train shouldn’t be the only rewarding playstyle as it’s barely enjoyable at higher level and favors only high population and high coverage servers.

Seriously Anet, something definitely needs to be done for more and more HL players getting nuts here, see other topics :

I also looted Zap a few 1000h ago… capturing Hills.

So absolutely no defensive rewards involved in both cases…

Still u don’t stand a chance since gvgers ask for some interesnt for ages with hundreds of posts and nothing so what some ppters will do? :P And I will answer like ppters answer to gvgers : “No one is forcing you to play…” defend, u can just capture – i don’t tlak about blob, u can roam aswell.

Won’t give up , (I like GvG too btw, hope Guild Halls brings instances).

But right now roaming is :

- less efficient PPT/time wise.
- less open to different professions and diversified.
- less rewarding on it’s success/failure ratio (ninja cap).
