WvW Rewards Suggestion- A legendary incentive
I think main reason developers do not want to include very good rewards in WvW is possible foul play. It is very easy to agree with enemy player or enemy guild to “farm” them in WvW for possible legendary reward.
Players do it in PvP, if there is enough rewards they will do it in WvW too.

In your backline: Elementalist+Mesmer+Necromancer
What could bring back players to WvW if not a legendary incentive?
How about:
-match ups that are decided by the better server not the bigger night crew
-balanced skills
-a meaningful scoring system
-a balances fighting environment?
All we wanted was a GvG.
Legendary incentives don’t necessary bring the people you want to the game mode. Look at the PvP backpiece and the long list of complaints about people who farm their profession achievements or just have no idea how to PvP.
It would suck if there were massive queues from people trying to farm their legendary rather than actually play WvW and prevent those who want to WvW from getting in due to queues.
Not sure how I feel about Legendary Armor in WvW, I mean WvW Needs love, and lots of it, but.. I am not sure if going Legendary Armor, is the right way to go.
I know everyone is talking about Legendary Armor right now, but.. ya know what I would love to see?
Unlocking something like, Legendary Siege Golems.

You guys did have valid points. Perhaps implementing this as an achievement collection, but I do see such an implementation could make people just capture 2 towers and get 5 kills per day before going afk.

Nothing is obvious in wvw
I’m sorry I thought you meant it to be an alternative while there are no other changes.
But I’m gonna stay with my opinion. Real pvp players don’t care about rewards. Victory is their reward. All you have to do is put some effort in it at the beginning and all you have to care about in the next couple of years is a bit of balancing.
All we wanted was a GvG.
