Dear Arena Net I would like to say I really enjoy the game and I believe you guys made a spectacular game. I am addicted to WvW since the moment I started the game.
Purpose of this Post:
I am aiming to increase the communication between players and Arena Net WvW Developers to answer some questions turning into urban legends.
Siege Limit Per Map:
What are the exact numbers of siege units you can place on a single map. From my experience It is around 120 but there are no official sources I can approve that. And is that limit same for EB and other BLs?
Siege Decay Timer:
What is the Decay time for non-build siege sites? From my experience it is around 3 minutes.

Player placed siege weapons have a 30 minute timer that remove the siege from the game, when the timer expires. Players using the siege causes the timer to restart.
Outnumbbered Buff and Play Limit Per Map:
What are the ratio’s to get outnumbered buff? and What are the maximum amount of players can be in single map from each server? And is it different in EB and other BLs?

Habbib stated that next patch golems will be unmanned and stay at location where player got disconnected which is great news but how about trebuchets?
WvW Tutorials (In-Game)
I believe in game Tutorials for WvW is really weak. There should be other Tutorial NPCs for training how to build Siege and how upgrades work. In sPvP tutorial is great and same thing should be done for WvW. Every person who get’s into WvW for the first time check their inventory for supplies when they grab it which is not there because it is the barrel icon on top. A lot of people doesn’t read online information so I believe something like in sPvP tutorials should be included in game.

What we really need are Anet employees who actually are willing to respond to their player base … even if what they have to say isn’t what we want to hear. Anet is guilty of the very worst sin in all of free market commerce … refusing to maintain a dialogue with your customers.

You did not understand Habib correctly there. Golems will NOT stay where they are when new patches hit the game. They will disappear just like any other siege equipment.
What Habib talked about was that when single players disconnect/Alt+F4, the golems these players were in will not disappear like they did before. Instead, the golems will stay there and wait for another player to use it.

Same rules apply in server reset as connection loss as character disconnect. Here is the statement from Habbib:
The behavior is correct in that your character was killed while in combat but the team talked it over and we’re not happy with the golem going away as a result. We’ll get a change into an upcoming build so that if you’re in a golem when you DC the golem itself won’t be destroyed but will instead be left behind as though you had exited it.
Thing about the trebuchets is during patch their timer continues and they decay when people log back in.
I too would like an official answer to these questions.

Balista, Catapult, Flame Ram) are permanent.
This has not been my experience. I have seen siege disappear from lords room and the top of garrison without the place even being attacked. The same with siege in lords room of bay and hills.
Maybe it has some thing to do with players being nearby? Like if you sit there and watch an arrow cart or it’s in a place a lot of people pass by it won’t disappear but if no one is around or passes by for a time it disappears?
morningstar that does not apply for server restarts. that is only if the person piloting the golem drops from the game be it on purpose or accidental. as for the rest of it siege seems to disappear after 30 minutes without being used, ive noticed people seem more likely to refresh arrow carts and ballista than trebs and golems for some reason…other than that to get a definitive answer we may just have to wait untill the next ask me anything and bombard them with these questions.

AC’s/Ballista’s have a timer.
I’ve set multiple around which “decay” in the 2hours I go offline for working at work+ drive home.
Remove the ability to build rams inside your own keep/tower. If someone’s going to waste supply, at least have them make something useful, like arrow carts.

maybe cause the are a LOT cheaper, even lowlvl players have the moeny pretty easy for some arrowcarts and even balista’s, but they are lucky to be able to afford treb’s and golems
As far as I know server restart follows same rules as player leaving the zone. You are getting removed to Lion’s Arch. But in the end with no official answers or set of official WvW rules in web site we are just trying to figure out.

Rest of the questions I still can’t find answers.
My cynical theory is that the reason we get no answers is because the game (WvW in particular) is buggy as hell. The best way to cut down on bug reports is to not tell the players how the game is intended to work.
If I were to not be cynical, I would consider the flip side. That is, since players do not know how the game is supposed to work, they do not file bug reports, and the bugs do not get squashed.
On that note, now that there is an official response on siege timers, if you see a piece of siege that sits there without being refreshed for more/less than 30 minutes, file a bug report.
