WvW: The reason why this game is dying
It’s not really end game, as i can get inside right after i leave the first chapter of personal history… But i get your point. World versus World been a little stagnant these days…
WvW Rank 3800 (Platinum Veteran) – PvP Rank 69 (Shark) – 25,9k Achievment Points
Mërcenaries [Sold] – Ferguson’s Crossing
Add to that, that Anet keeps removing WvW content instead of adding to it, and the fact that they keep countering the coordinated guild tactics to make the crying pugs happy, and you got yourself a game thats heading in the wrong direction.
When do game developers realise that they need to listen to the community and not just let some programmer that never played that game decide where it goes?

The fix might not be as straight forward as it seems.
Increasing the rewards is a tricky thing as a keep / tower can take anywhere from 5 minutes (Nightcapping PvDoor) to 3 hrs to take. If we increase the rewards to appropriately match 3 hrs of hardwork, the nightcrew mob will suddenly find themselves swimming in karma/currency.
If the WvW gear pricing is reduced, the forum would be even more rife with ‘What do I do now? I beat the Game LULZ’ threads. But i do agree that the something needs to be changed here, making the gear stand out more or anything which gives more satisfaction upon attaining it.
Theres no distinguishing benifits in wvw.
Thus giving it no true purpose besides server rep.
Game isn’t dying, go cry wolf in swtor.
Whole WvW system just promotes a game of tag. Constantly flipping points is ridiculously boring. Hell it would have been better to have a long corridor map at this point.
You forgot the new breaking out events.
Huuuuuge error that is!
