lvl 80 Ranger

Just some food for thought, but what would you think if titles were given to players once they maxed out on siege. For example you would receive Flame Ram Master title once you were maxed on flame ram mastery. By displaying this title it would help commanders and the rest of the group to ensure only players with the proper siege mastery skill got on certain siege once built. I realize it won’t stop the “I bought this game and I’ll do what I want” moron from jumping on siege but at least we’ll have something to yell at them for.
Playing devil’s advocate, some players might feel slighted b/c the haven’t reached max level on certain siege and therefore are unable to use it. But if a player is able to do more on a particular siege by having reached max level, shouldn’t they be the ones to use it until the aforementioned player has maxed out?
In the end it will only help out the group by ensuring only the most skilled player jumps on siege and not some newbie or PVE player who has no idea what they are doing.
Except when points get reset, people may not necessarily invest in them and not all commanders have it so they can easily see who has the skills capped. It’s easier to just use TS but that is a good suggestion.

Unlike the Veteran of the Mists title which gave the title to achievement hunters who only came into the bl’s for 2 weeks to waste supply and do jp’s as opposed to the people who have been doing wvw for over a year now.
Not a bad idea. What about a small “buff” type portrait that display if you have mastery in something. That way, once points reset you do not have the “buff” anymore until you spend the points again. And you can see all the “buffs” any individual has.

Good idea, except it would hurt clone spamming mesmers, as it would be easier to tell who is the real mesmer. Any smart clone spamming mesmer knows to have as few buffs as possible, to make finding them all the more harder.
If the buff could only be displayed to allies, then not a bad idea. But not sure how that would work with the current system.
