If the winning server gets better rewards than other servers won’t we risk massmigration towards servers that are in a winning position?
I would prefer better rewards for players who engage themselves heavily in a WWW-season, but more based on personal achievement than in the actual results of the server.
Now, bragging right thingys to the Winners are ofcourse all right.
I doubt one single thing is going to change, regardless of what we suggest but hey why not blaze away.
I would give everyone 500 tickets for the meta with the following deductions;
-100 tickets for every spammed “laugh” above 2.
-100 tickets for every “sit” emote carried out on an opponent.
-100 tickets for NOT following a commander off a cliff to your death.
-100 tickets for accusing the other server of blobbing.
-100 tickets for complaining about loss of tickets.
All those who end up negative would have to earn back tickets at a rate of 1 per hour as black citadel travel guides…..

You’re assuming that there will be enough tokens for every participant to get a decent reward. I can EASILY foresee this system being something like one ascended trinket will be worth maybe 12 tokens, but participants on low tier servers might only get 4-5 tokens by the end of the whole tournament due to their placement.
Don’t lie to me, you’re from blackgate and as a result, these achievements wouldn’t have taken the 7 weeks to complete at all. Also complaining about queues, on blackgate… well speaks for itself doesn’kitten

Anet PLEASE remove all the rewards! Maybe it will keep over-stacked zerglings out of wvw.
Real WvW guilds don’t care about rewards. What is your PvE guild bothering with WvW for? Go farm Frostgorge if your here for carrots.

My apologies I got that wrong I didn’t pick that part up. It does indeed suck given that the tournament is decided purely on coverage. Some sort of handicapping system is definitely required for this.

Those of us here on lower tier servers tend to fret a bit more over those small details because each dev post usually means more reasons for our dwindling number of friends to pack up and head for the greener pastures of T1.
Tokens should be awarded as per an hourly wage. That way we can really say it is like working a job.
