When or will the WvW tournament ever come back? Do we got any information on this?

Never, anet stated a while ago that they wouldn’t be coming back largely because there was a decline in the WvW player base after each tournament.

I kind of wish they would bring the tournaments back, sadly they do not want to invest the time into the game mode to make it function better and do the tournaments in a better way so, just another abandoned idea.

I don’t think it would be wise in WvW current state, there’s to many issues atm, also how frustrating would it be if one low pop server won the link lottery while others got tossed down into the depths of T4.

With that said, I don’t see why they couldn’t do a 2 week event along the lines of triple/quadruple points for kills. Just stay the hell away from anything siege oriented, Golem week was a complete mess and something like that would do more harm then good. They could even do a siegeless week, no siege for 1 week could be entertaining.
