Hey guys,

I’ve created a WvW tutorial series to help lower the learning curve that pushes so many people away from trying it out after PvE.

So far there are two videos up, one with the very basics and another with the northern borderlands review. I’ll be continuing a comprehensive review of the borderlands before moving to eternal battlegrounds, siege placement, and eventually open field tactics.

Interesting idea, i was just playing around with the idea of writing a WvW guide for my server members. Ill watch your videos a little later and give feedback.

Glad you think so, I’m hoping to get the videos pinned or at least get them as a first-reference for new players/referrals from militia commanders. I’m a pretty regular commander myself but with time constraints this is the best way for me to help the community right now

the new people have to learn about upgrades and tower defenses and siege placement. we had a guy from my old guild training people on trebs and mortars and ac’s for weeks.
a new player will always feel lost in wvw when they start.
i can remember when i got to wvw for the first time. i used to buy the wrong upgrades because i didnt know. i didnt know how to use a ram or a treb. i didnt know about builds or anything. then i got picked up by a guild and learned the ropes quite fast.

these videos could definitely encourage newbies to play more often and effectively help the server.

Good stuff to encourage new players. I really appreciate commanders helping out with tutorials.

Definitely, and I think siege use may be a video I go through before continuing my borderlands review.

this needs a bumb for all the new pve players that are joining wvw.
