Cheers to the guys that run in the 2-3 mans. But I cannot for the life of me realize why people post videos of 10 mans, facing other 10-20 zergs and call it “small scale roaming”? As one of my guys said, "Group size is 5, AoE ca kitten , buff/condition removal ca kitten , it takes about 5 guys with supply to build any siege…. 2 questions for you all…
1. Why when this thread asks for small roaming videos do people throw up videos of zerg fighting with 10+?
2. How is fighting with 10 people a challenge at all unless you are facing 40? (Which then is so far out of the “small scale roaming” realm its silly)

Of the 8 videos I viewed, I saw one of an actual 5 man put up by “Tricare.2946” (zero other teal adds) taking on double their number and putting up a solid effort and getting stomps…..how few is the number of people left in gw2 that want to rely souly on 4 other guys to win whatever they come across?

Here’s a video from our crew on FA. It’s about 10 or 12 guys against 30 to 40 TC (there are so many they are constantly culling in and out). You think we clear them at the 1:11 second mark….but you see our commander turns around and that was only a quarter of them. We Won…is that interesting or still too large scale?

I mean there have been nights where we grouped with sister guild/ally guild (who also run 5 guys) and stomped 30-40….Yea it’s interesting but every night just becomes zerg busting. I’d rather fight 5 guys who are smart and coordinated than 30-40 idiots with 6-7 guys who have actually pvped before in the crowd.

Fair enough, that’s just really hard to get done….literally. We just moved from T3 to T2 a couple of weeks ago. I do a lot of havoc activities (camp flips, tower ninja’s, yak killing, etc) with a one or a few other guys…we just don’t see other small groups very often in these tiers (especially 2). There are so many large zergs running around you have to take weird loops and stuff to just not get run over and we typically aren’t frapsing since flipping a supply camp does not equal sexy video. I will post if we ever catch one on tape though!

Generally, you need 10-15 to have a good shot at 30-40 PUGs and you need 10-15 to have a good shot at an average 20-25 preform/guild group.

I think 10v10 is still decent when it’s a good group versus good group, 5v5 is best though on a personal level. Anything above that gets kind of messy and it becomes much more about communication and positioning than clutch moves (although clutch moves can still come into play).

Can we get a WvW video mega thread of small roaming teams and gvg and what not, I’m tired of looking through each individual thread for videos/channels.

Didn’t seem very specific, maybe that’s why. Probably mistook as wanted the gamut of WvW videos …
