The idea would be to add an ability + X% WXP. It would cost 500 ability points total ( 100/200/300/400/500) and would give a +50% WXP total ( +10% per level).
What do you guys think? pros/cons? Discuss!

That would make the high level get levels faster. No one would spend pts on that until they are close to max traits. Not like it take long to hit max trait currently. 1300 lvl takes anywhere from 600-1300 game hours, 600 if you only karma train.

As Ulion says to add 50% for 500 points would be making it to easy for people with high ranks already to dumb 500 points into this to rank up even faster :P

Not everyone has access to the wxp/Bday/guild boosters and running around EotM can get pretty mind numbing and it’s not really WvW :P. The idea was to help new WvWers rank up inbetween seasons since it can be a bit slow in the off season. Once the season starts, you can reallocate your points to fit better what you’ve learn/guild or team you joined.
True that higher ranked players would rank up faster but it would only be about prestige to that point. To the lower ranked players, I think it could be an interesting decision.
