WvW and Dailies
I went into wvw completely hating all things pvp.
I was fortunate to run into a commander who helped me get map completion.
I stayed because I wanted to give something back for the kindness.
Hung out. Learned the map. Got completely engaged by the teamwork and community.
Now have a hard time playing pve.
Stick around, see where you can help. A WvWer will always answer genuine questions, and soon you’ll be hooked like me.
WvW is great when you have a good group of people doing it, but you could say that for most content. I don’t mind if people go to do their dailies since sometimes they come and help when we’re hitting a tower or keep. Other than that people doing dailies aren’t harming anyone (except the enemies) so I don’t see why they would be a hinderance
It’s fine. You do you.

As a long time WvWer, I usually go into WvW using the dailies as a guide to the question, “What should I do today?” If I’m with guildies, we’ll branch off the dailies as well, but they all want to do them too.
Even here in t1, just last week we stood by the harpy spawn point with other servers just waiting for it to spawn because there was a veteran creature daily. We killed it, then everybody went their merry way.
You are not alone in wanting to do wvw dailies.
If you get killed by opponents this is 2-3 points for their server, but if you capture stuff like sentries or camps, your server gets a few points as well. On the great scale of things one person doesn’t really have a impact on score that is big enough to change the outcome but you are certainly more likely to help your server than hurting it by doing your dailies.
I think most people are fine with it, but please pick up supply and build the siege that the commander throws down (do not throw your own, that is a no no)
you are welcome.

There is only one rule,
All the loot belongs to me !
I’d answer but I don’t even know what is required for a WvW daily.

And you probably finish them most days without even looking but just by playing.

Jekkies actively tries to avoid doing dailies out of spite. That’ll teach those chests who’s boss.
