We should all remember that it is World vs. World (vs. World).
One, two, even five players should not really be making the difference. It should be the efforts of the server as a whole that decide the winners of a week.
“You” are not competing against other players. “You” are competing against an entire server. You can’t expect to win on your own. That’s what your server is for.
If being competitive in WvW is important to you, switch to a server that WvW is important to, a quick look at the forums shows a few servers advertising that they are looking for players to fill timezones. These are the servers that want to WvW competitively. There are likely other servers that could use players in your timezone who simply haven’t asked for help yet.
Right now the game does not have a high enough WvW population to make every server viable in WvW. It will take time for the game to fill in, and for more servers to become viable in WvW, but it will happen.
Don’t try and force your server to WvW.
Do encourage your server to WvW.
Don’t expect Anet to fix something that isn’t broken.
Do us Anet’s free transfers to find a server that has the same values as you.
Don’t wait, hopefully the free transfers end sooner than later.
