I just quickly though of those and wanted to share the ideas. I am imagening another buff next to “outmanned” and that is “outplayed” (or smth like that). The outplayed buff would simply apply to a server, that holds only 3 fortifications on a map and would be equal to the outmanned buff.
What I would like to have both buffs applying to a player is the following:
- Range bonus for Siege Weapons (and maybe over all a range bonus?)
- Teleport shrines (or smth like that) from spawn to tower (with internal cooldown for each player, that used the teleport for 5 min or so)
- leave the no reapair cost buff
- remove the karma and magic find buff
- maybe a supply carry cap of 15
The point behind this is, to enable to outmanned or outplayed server to have a chance defending against the oncomming forces, without destroying the whole balance. Stuff like more dmg or more health would be too broke I think and also in no sense sadisfying for the outmanned server. And that comes from a player, who plays on such a server every day. But strucutal or logistic changes would be more suited imho, so that one player can take over the role of two or so in providing defense. And also would be able to enter the tower against a big enough group in order to be able to provide some defense.
