If an scout is sent out to report your zerg’s location on the map then what is the point of chasing it or killing it…basically your location is discovered no matter if you try to kill the enemy or not….

To solve the problem:

There should be a cooldown timer added before an enemy is able to message the officers and squad again after he/she is killed….

An invader should not be able to message the officer or squad while under attack….

Yeah chat cooldown on death is pointless. The only way to solve the problem is to limit vision. For example pointing the camera down while only showing say an 8×8m area around the player, stop rendering objects (ie render only static items such as trees, walls, etc but not players), use some sort of shader effect to blur the entire screen, etc and so on.

I dont think “death spies” are really an issue. People are just paranoid. There are far more pressing issues than saying “enemy over here”.
