Stay a while and listen!

The current state of WvW is in dire need of help and attention from the devs. Battles that in a working game would be freaking epic is just destroyed by skill lag, server lag and culling. I can stand toe to toe with 5 enemies and just look at them while they look at me.

“So I am just trying to heal here”
“Oh yeah, np. We wont kill you, we are trying to heal aswell”

A guy in the back is maning his arrow cart

“Watch out, they are using arrow carts”

45 seconds pass until

“Watch out, second shot from arrow cart”

“So yeah this heal is not going to happen today is it?”
“Doesnt look like it, I think I just try to kill some people instead”
“Great idea”
“Atleast running around works good”

“GUYS!! WTF! I AM ELEMENTALIST AND STUCK IN WATER ATTUNEMENT PHEAR MY DAMAGE”

“Elementalist plz I am engineer and stuck with a grenade kit thats out of grenades”

This is how it feels everytime a battle of more than 25 people is in it.

And what is this with the game starting to lag when a zerg is withing 10 000 units?

“Did you feel that?”
“What?”
“The lag… something is coming”

Its like the scene in Jurassic Park when the T-Rex footsteps makes the water move. Only here the water is lag!

So for gods sake. Give us some updates on what you are working on. We need some good news now! We don´t care if you turn of culling only to have lag and fps be worse! We don´t care if you add new features and the result of it will be more zerging cause its more efficient. Just give us some … good … news!

This basicly stated in an other thread that culling will be non-existant after the march patch. If I read and heard correctly (not 100% sure) they are updating their engine (which is kitten tons of work) to load things a lot faster. So hang in there, after the march updates you should see significant improvement in culling and skill lag.

I have been told that GW2 doesn’t fully make advantage out of multi-core processors. This bottlenecks many people their PC. Apparantly they are working on this too.

So yea, Anet could be a bit more open, but they sure are working hard and deserve some love.
