Anet please i beg of you merge vabbi and fisure of woe they are both mega low on population and has no chance in WvW blacktide ,Arborstone anyone will win us with a score of 400k to the green(high population servers),20k(fow),15k(vabbi) we are always outnumbered 100 to 1 in WvW and can’t capture or defend anything …

While you’re at it, merge NA lower tiers as well. Thanks.

Current situation is bad for everyone in T9: green doesn’t have anyone to fight with, blue and red are not able to fight at all. Latest band-aid on WvW – randomisation of match-ups – will only change nameplates of green players.

I am secretly hoping for the whole EU T9 to be “merged” with other servers (free transfer from T9 followed by closure of T9 servers). Well, if wishes were wings, pigs would fly

The total number of servers has to be a multiple of three in order for WvW matchups to be made. Each time you merge two servers, the total number of servers is reduced by one.

If you merge two servers, you will either have to add a new server to replace the lost one, or find two more pairs of servers to merge. That will put the total number of servers back to being a multiple of three.

I was going to post an Inb4, but Pavel beat me to it.
I probably wouldn’t transfer even if I was the last guy left playing on FoW. Stubborn, maybe. Stupid, maybe. Maybe.
Transfer if you think you’d have more fun somewhere else. I mean we play a game to have fun right. :>

As a PvX player (in a PvX guild) I have few problems with transferring, namely:

1. I transfer and change guild – I have to leave friends in the old guild.
2. I transfer with some active WvW guild mates while staying in my guild – we are a PUG on emigration, guild missions are a pain (cannot see what’s happening), no bonus from WvW progress (can live without it), plus few others.
3. I transfer with some active WvW guild mates and we leave our guild – same as 1.
4. Whole guild transfers – we loose all upgrades (fully upgraded guild, all unlocked).
5. More general one: this content should work “as-it”, not require a special “server” selection for an additional “fee”.

So far transfer is our best option, we are considering 2.

How much is that in gold, I have 12 gold left after the weekend buying siege and such, Can I transfer my whole guild with that? 50 people?

Sounds like a terrible idea to me.

Well with the new random matchups Blacktide won’t be fighting us every week. Doesn’t help Vabbi or Fow much of course. I saw someone had worked out we’d be matched with each other 99% of the time hehe. Don’t forget about us nubs though while you’re having an exciting week. :p

P.S. Psy is a scrub who only plays WvW to show off his hammer to the ladies. D;
