Is there any plan to stop the rampant use of this and others hacks in wvw? Its very easy to spot but when i report them nothing happens.

Hacking in GW2 is serious, is happening, and it has a long story of being denied probably because it’s gonna be really hard to fix, but they really should start working on it

I don’t think they’ve ever actually denied it, hell, they removed the orbs for that exact (as stated) reason.

Nobody denied hacking (at least I am not aware of that). I guess that due to so much stuff being processed on the client side, it is easy to hack and hard to track. I am sure they are working on it though.

Easiest way is to ban hackers. And easiest way to spot them are player reports. Even if the hacker is from your server, it should be in common sense to report them and ask them to stop doing it. I remember some hackers on my server at the very beginning of the game, who I never saw again after some weeks.

One thing I’ve found is that when trying to report a player there isn’t actually an option for hacking/cheating? Closest I find is botting?

I’ve found numerous people speed hacking yet can’t report them correctly.

The joy however is that with 1 immobilize and some very nasty DPS I can hopefully punish the cheater before they get away :P
