WvW players want the buff aura?
I don’t care honestly… WvW is full of powercreeping already by having Nourishments, ascended gear with infusions, bloodlust, etc… A bit more stats here and there is the minor of my problems.

And most of all the WvW guilds already claim almost all the objectives giving the boosts that way too… and we have all the keep presences and all too… Its a bit like, “What to buff now…” mentality in my opinion.
I kind of don’t want to see more power creeping, not saying it negatively impacts anything. Just doesn’t seem necessary any more because its everywhere in WvW.
I vote no but I could see how some lower populated servers need it to fight the bigger blobs that need every little buff they can get.
I suppose it was considered as yet another buff for defenders. It’s much better than other defensive buffs, like the hp sponge walls and gates, tactivators, supply ripping trebs etc. At least the aura promotes, theoretically, fights instead of hiding behind walls. So maybe it’s a good concept. What I don’t like is the aura range – it’s way to big, which makes fights outside of structures even mor unbalanced.
Yes……………….
Yes but only because i don’t want to swap my whole armor arround just to go into a golem :p
Perhaps, but if the person wanted to have that it would have made sense in stating that to start with. The way I felt it was for all players within x range of an objective.
If you really want to buff players, add stat buffing to outnumbered and add a new condition that is permanent until the outnumbered buff drops on whoever you outnumber. The stats for it could be -200 or -300 toughness, -200 vitality, -200 or -300 condition damage, -200 or -300 power, etc.
Theoretically, this would limit servers like CD and JQ from stacking a match on borderlands and EBG because they would be adversely affected by the overnumbered negative condition buff. Example, FA was grossly outnumbered on EBG with only like 5 defenders to JQ’s blob of 10 on keep, 5 or more harassing the towers. Outnumbered buff was on but it did nothing to entice us to keep defending or even help us to defend. And JQ had enough that even with losing -200 points on ALL stats they would had still likely wiped us. Yet, it would still help make an incentive for those trying to defend to defend as best as they can.
Meh, just my perspective. I normally don’t like kittening or power creep, but I’m wondering now why they ever made outnumbered buff, which doesn’t even buff.
Only reason I like them is for moving around the field, lol. I never use Signet of the Hunt on my Ranger or Signet of the Locust on my Necromancer so the +25% movement speed I get pretty much anywhere on our side of the map is nice.

See, I’d rather have those stats buffed up a tiny bit (+120 stats) and make the siege cap more punishing (say 2-3 pieces of siege as opposed to the current 5). I don’t mind having a few more stats. It helps the defending side but promotes fighting as it encourages you to take advantage of more stats.

If you don’t want the buff don’t fight around claimed structures. Keeps should be hard to take, not rolled over. And yes the outnumbered buff should give a stat boost, that would be something useful about it at least.
