Because we have none on the Anvil Rock server.

Occasionally a 5 minute queue, at most a 30 minute queue during primtime weekend hours.

The thing is, I have played many MMOs and everyone flocks to full servers because they want nonstop pvp and to be surrounded by lots of people. On our server I have always had that feeling, and there is no end to the battles and action in our WvW.

So basically my point is, if you are experiencing ridiculous queues, then you are just kicking yourself in the junk needlessly and should transfer to a server with barely any queues, such as Anvil Rock.

Exactly. People act like if a server isn’t in the top rankings there is no good PvP to be had.

I’ve found it to be quite the opposite. On the servers with the huge alliances (and queues) the PvP in WvW is pretty boring, running around in a group of 100 capping everything so fast that most people can’t even get a shot off at anything and then standing around for days outside enemy spawn point waiting for a few easy kills. I can do the same in PvE and it’s more fun there. There’s no feeling of PvP in winning by overwhelming numbers. The feeling of killing a player is no better than whacking a lvl 2 moa when all you ever get in is a hit or two and it doesn’t matter which skill you use anyway.

I mean this in the nicest possible way: sack up you ninnies! If you want to actually fight in WvW rather than waiting hours for a queue to pop so you can spawn camp a weaker server, transfer to that weaker server and help them out.

Same in Darkhaven… 10 or 15 minutes during prime time.

people will figure it out eventually, i hope.

I play in Darkhaven, the pvp is giving me a lot of fun because its hard and I barely experience any queues. The only issue i´m having is waking up every morning to find our score at +10, when there is a server with +680. Night capping is really pissing me off… but when I play at night its a lot of fun and well balanced, even tho we´re hardly winning… but we can hold off some keeps and stuff and it is very fun. Last night we took a keep for my guild and held it for 6 hours, until went to bed and woke up to find it lost along with the entire map.

Was it the keep with the orb Julio? Because if so, me and a lot of my guild ANV took it last night. Then Yaks made a huge push and took it from us. We stayed up late last night and gave them hell, was a lot of fun. But yeah, all Yaks in the morning like usual.

Are you American? I know there some Aussies on Darkhaven, possibly you could create a night-watch with some of them. I’m currently focused on pve but once I reach 80 and finish the story I’m heading straight to wvw. There’s me and my clan of friends (TG) we don’t have a guild as yet, most of us are in Supremacy (SUP) which is mostly oceanic based on Darkhaven. Just ask around for guilds of different time zones and see if they are willing for night-watch alliances.

Actually, I´m Brazilian, wich makes it worse for a night-watch, since our timezone is 3… so i get around 2-4h than USA… the nightwatch for me would be if I woke early in the morning. But indeed, we need to stop night capping for our world.
