I 100% agree with this, it should be account wide. But I also don’t think it will happen because of what lordkrall said, people want to have different characters for different things.

After many threads I believe we’ve come down to, it should be an account wide pool of points to be spent on any character in the account. Also, that those points are refundable back to the pool and reused as the system evolves.
One thing I’ve never liked is, what if we delete a character and re-roll? My 1k+ hours shouldn’t be thrown away.

It would make sense if it was impossible to get the highest rank and get ALL specialisations, but it is not the case, which makes a spec-argument not viable.
I like this idea of a spec by character but right now, it’s way too long to get a level to think about upping different characters.
They had announced we’d earn about 1 rank/hour. Well, in the best cases, while I tag a lot and join a lot of the captures/defenses, I sit around 4-5 hours to get 1 rank …
I don’t think it should be account wide, but character-wide with much faster xp to make it more interesting. Something like 3k/rank instead of 5k.
But, don’t dream, it will never happen.

There is no limit to the amount of points one can earn, so after all you will be able to unlock everything, in like 2 years, if you stick with one character.
