I completely agree with A-nets decision to exclude the view of a players WvW rank to thier own server. This ensures that degrading and harassment does not occur towards fellow mates and commanders on the field of battle, keeping everyone on a level playing field.

However, in gw1, Champion and Hero rank emotes were amazingly well done and gave the player a real sense of pride in thier accomplishment, further than the title track ever could.

GW2 has some of the best graphics and artists that the mmorpg genre has ever seen. I hope that a-net will give the idea of WvW rank emotes some thought and attention. This gives the player the option to deliver an impressive visual display of thier achivements for thier Server. The option to present the /rank emote will ensure that no player has to be subject to harassment due to a low WvW rank if they choose not to display the emote.

Please A-net, bring back the visual spectacles that I loved so much from GW1!
