Guild Wars 2

I.e. wxp upgrades that have multiple ranks, as say defense against guards – are they cummulative (i.e. 1+2+3+4+5=11) or each next point just shows total bonus (o.e. 1+1+1+1+1=5)?

They are total (say rank3 in guard def = +3% not +6%. Only thing that counters this if i remember correctly is say siege might + cannon/ballista/arrow cart damage bonus.
