This question relates to map completion. I’m on Balckgate and the other two I see are Sanctum of Rall and Jade Quarry. How long are the server rotation or when will these 2 change? Wiki says server resets every week it seems to me like these 2 have been there for many weeks. There are 3 points of interest and 2 vista that can never be reached because Blackgate won’t for whatever reason assault those 2 positions. So my 3rd world mapping is stuck at 99%. Guesting on other servers doesn’t change a thing, I’m beginning to think guesting for WvW is pointless.

You can’t guest for WvW. It’s kind of random who your enemy teams are and yes it sucks we have to wait to be a certain team colour to be able to complete world maps.

We just have to play the waiting game I am sorry to say.

So Sanctum of Rall and Jade Quarry are they territory or server names?

Server names. You can’t guest to them to play on their teams in WVW. WvW is strictly limited to your world/server only. You will have to wait until your team is the team colour of the map you need or until your side takes those towers/whatever you need.

The colours are assigned randomly. Just wait until Blackgate is given the colour that you need.

Actually from what I have heard or read I think it goes by the ranking of the servers. Green is the highest of the 3 I believe, I have been waiting for green for over a month now for my server for my last guy to have world complete.

But yeah in the end it just comes down to waiting, waiting, waiting.

I feel your pain. I on Tarnished Coast was stuck as Green for I think 6 or 7 weeks in a row. We FINALLY got Blue this week, and I’ve been rushing to map everything on my characters while I can. Fingers crossed that we’ll get Red next week (which should be possible if TC gets a rare bump up to Tier 1, and Blackgate and JQ undoubtedly get the 1st and 2nd slots).

Thank guys that answers it all. Here’s where my characters stand. 100% x 2, 99%, 76%, 64%, 58%, 49%, 47% so 1 for each professions, and a 9th to collect Lion Arch chest keys.

Nice, nice keep at it you’ll get it! Well you and me both, I have 7 at 100% and just my necro to complete 1 small section of EB and the green full map. We will get there!

I cannot convince people to help take the towers I will need in WvW, which is one POI on green map and a few in Eternal Battlegrounds. Yaks has been red, as we’re in 9th place, forever. We’ve faces SBI for like a year straight, someone said? It’s ridiculous.

If world completion is going to be mandatory for a Legendary weapon, ANET needs to remove the WvW sections from it. There is no way for some of us to get these points, despite weeks of trying.
