Guild Wars 2

Could someone link to a place to READ a description of strategy dealing with WvW. (if such a thing exists)
Or maybe more accurately a description of what I should be doing to help my world in WvW (Borliss Pass).
(sorry I just can’t watch a 30min youtube video of some guy trying to describe this but I can read something long winded)

My friends and I got on there and killed 50 people in a couple of hours to get our monthly bonus then left because it wasn’t obvious what to do.
All we heard were people shouting about how we were all stupid to be fighting there and should be going somewhere else.
One time we followed him somewhere and proceeded to get killed instantly (only death in those 50 kills). He stopped talking after that lol.
