WvW unplayable
Must be your computer/internet connection, WvW plays just fine.
Try roaming instead of blobing.
My latency to the server is lower than 150 ms, it does not make a difference how many people there are around, it does make any difference if I reduce settings on my side.
WvW plays just fine? How big is your server? 10?
I can play fine at 9:00. Now we are lagging all. Roaming or blobbing it’s the same

Killing dolyaks on an empty server m8? Your pc/internet must be awesome.
I tried to 1v1 last night and I’m rubber banding everywhere, no skills working etc y’know the story.
I tried to waypoint afterwards and it took more than 40 secs to port to citadel.
Roam,zerg or blob, it’s all the same.
Had really terrible skill lag earlier that prevented me from getting contribution for claiming a tower. Actually, it wasn’t lag, because that implies my skills were used at some point. They just weren’t going off, and I wasn’t taking damage either, but the whole battlefield was still going so I wasn’t being disconnected or anything. Then all of the sudden, I took a huge amount of damage from what I can only assume was the five AoEs underneath of me finally taking effect.
I can understand if this was happening in a game without a queue, but what’s the point in me having to wait 10 minutes to get into the map if it can still be rendered unplayable?
The issues at hand have nothing to do with lag, lag implies delayad communication between clients and servers. Nor does this have anything to do with package loss.
The issues at hand are related to what is happening on the servers and the processing of information on the servers.
On a side note: There are obviously ways to provoke those issues.
(edit) the issues arise even on “empty” maps like obsidian sanctum with only interactions by less than 15 players.

Yup its really bad in our matchup sos/db/mag. Sos has a 100 man map blob running around all 4 maps. Whenever the blob is anywhere even remotly close to you your skills stop working then all all at once everything registers and you just die. I been loging off out of frustration.

If you want to be constructive it’s better to put it in a thread that’s at least being loosely monitored rather than having multiple threads that either end up rehashing the same points of view, devolve into inflammatory nonsense or simply get pushed off the first page.

I’m not sure exactly what would lead you to believe that the dev team cares about what it’s customers have to say. The same problem occurred T/O S1 and nothing was done about it. I find it difficult to understand that Anet did not foresee this problem prior to S2 considering the number of bandwagon guilds that jump ship prior to the tournaments and swell the ranks to crazy numbers. They are supposedly knowledgeable, intelligent individuals with the experience to necessary to resolve such problems – the fact that it is taking place as we speak is proof that they can’t be bothered to deal with it.
If they truly did know of this in advance but couldn’t do anything about it, then S2 should never have been allowed to take place. I would rather continue with WvW as it was than try to put up with lag, queues, and PVE title hunters spamming chat looking for the kittening JP!!!!

I can’t claim to know the amount of resources available to the wvw dev team or the constraints that they have to work around. I prefer to believe they do what they can with what they have while trying to meet content deadlines.
There’s no disputing that there are severely overdue bug fixes for the gametype but negativity won’t solve anything either. If you are encountering severe input latency then detail your experience in the main thread and you have the potential to be a small part of the solution.
