I would just like to bring the lag issue to attention. Ever since this April 15th feature patch, I’ve gotten tons of lag both in WvW and PvE. I posted in the WvW section since I WvW the most.

I’ve been getting both skill lag and positioning lag. This hasn’t been the case for me for the last 4-5 months, generally speaking, up until this patch.

I’m not sure if its because more people are playing or because of this whole MEGASERVER change, but it needs fixing ASAP!

Please post if you are experiencing the same problem and you do not normally have connection problems or lag.

There has been a noticeably higher lag level for me, if mostly passive. Big fights even outside of SM seem to create lag around the place, and everything did feel rather slow all evening with my guild, ending with a dc from me as oftentimes it does. ‘GW2 has encountered a problem and needs to close…’

Oh ya man, lag, upon lag, upon lag, for DAYS. I turned settings to below normal. I mean not even native resolution and the skill lag is still there in 10+ groups. I have an i7 3.4GHZ processor, 770GTX, 8GiGs of 1600MHZ DDR3 RAM. What is going on with this game?

Personally, I haven’t had any graphical lag at all. What I have had though, is once I hit a skill, its icon flashes once then it acts as if it was canceled out. Oddly, it always works on the second press of the button.

I get 0 frame rate problems 1080p close to max settings [No shadows cuz that makes everything horrible.].. I just get skill lag.

I’ve had less lag since the feature patch. Still had some skill lag in the SM 3 way cluster kitten but even that was not as bad as it usually is.

Seems to be an increase of lag since patch 15th april, i do know a lot more people on my server having the same issue.

i have had skilllag with staff ele since start of the 2nd season.. skills take like a second longer to fire than in pve.. its really annoying with aoe skills -_-

Yes. I thought it was just my isp. But i switched to my phone tether isp which is better than my regular wifi. And i still got a lot of lag spikes during wvw combat. So has to be server lag.

Same here. Hasn’t experienced any lag for months untill the patch.

Yeah lots of lag for me aswell leading to dc’s since the patch
