1. 1 Elementalists\ Rangers \ Mesmers Range.

- This is just insane, their meteor shower and arrow rain range is just too much, you can’t stand on the walls to defend, you can’t even repair your gate. You can’t even reach them because by the time you reach them you are dead with all that burst damage. Mesmers are able to get illusions attacking people inside the fort, not on the walls, not on the towers but inside the fort’s plaza… I won’t discuss Mesmers hot drops because it’s a tactic just a tactic that can’t be countered I guess.

1. 2 Melee is pointless

- Same reason as the above mentioned, your armor means 0 ! Your toughness or vitality means nothing because they do not block magic damage just direct damage and your vitality means squat due to conditions… You can’t do anything without resorting to a range weapon, the only time I use my melee weapon is to catch the stragglers that stay behind. There’s no way to endure the damage and at least cause some havoc and disorientation in the enemy line for your team to do something. And even if they do manage to get to the enemy they are just going to be stun locked until dead..

• Guardians in specific which were mentioned as the kings of protection, protect nothing at all since their protection skills like the shield ones have such pitiful durations that are worsened by long cooldowns and they have no real ranged weapon.

• Warriors have to resort to their rifles and Bows as well.

1. 3 Trebuchets have insane range, Arrow Carts have short Cooldowns

This is taken from personal experience. Do you know that right side keep in Bordelands, do you know the closest fort to your spawn? Guess what… I built a trebuchet on the 2nd highest tower of that keep and was able to hammer that fort, their walls, even reached their gate from the inside.

1. 4 Armor Repair Costs

It’s my strongest belief that armour repair in wvwvw should be free of charge. Face it, who wants to play wvwvw especially when if you’re the losing server you are constantly killed and in the end you just think that wvwvw is a money sink.

1. 5 Siege weaponry\ upgrades cost money

The reason almost no one buy siege weaponry is because it costs money ! if you would change gold for karma, people would be more willing to buy siege weaponry and upgrade keeps\forts\supply camps. This would also mean that you don’t have to be rich to help your server.
