WvWvW Question about how Queue Works
Devious(DVS)
Did you have the outmanned buff while you had guildies waiting in queue?
I have also observed enourmous population imbalance. Like worse then 2 times as many players on one server over the others. If it isn’t 33.3% each, it needs fixed immediately.
Welcome to 2012 where we have 4 hour Q times.
How are you enjoying beta so far?
Guess what they know. They don’t care. Good news is they opened up digital sales again despite there 4 hour Q times. Cash N grab.
Whoever thought up 10k population servers with 166 cap pvp zone’s should sit down and really look at how that doesn’t make any sense at all.

I noticed a lot of people complaining about this last night so me and 3 friends went around and looked, it’s a false perception and here is why: while your enemy is in a huge zerg killing you, your side is split into 4-6 medium sized groups with people wandering about harvesting, killing NPCs and crafting (you know, the stuff that apparently can only be done in W3), so while you and 15 other people are defending a keep from a group of 70 and you’re calling out for help, it’s not that the reinforcements aren’t there, it’s that they are too stupid/lazy/entitled to be bothered to come and thus you think you are hugely outnumbered.
we figured this out by splitting up and checking every crossed sword icon on the map and found that we had plenty of people but they just refused to gather or coordinate. While map chat was clogged with people complaining about population imbalances I saw about 10 members of a very good Brazilian guild log into our battlefield, one of whom is a commander, within 10 minutes we grabbed half the map because a lot of those splintered groups started gathering around the blue diamond and we suddenly outnumbered the opponent zerg. The good guild had to log after an hour or so and within minutes we had split into separate groups again and the whole map got taken back and map chat went right back to crying about pop imbalance.
If you check out the cultural differences in guild websites you will see that oceanic/asian/south american guilds tend to forgo small guilds for large ones with alliances and require people to queue up early and stay together where Americans tend to splinter a ton.
The queue system has issues, hopefully they can fix the issues and at least have an indicator of your place in line.
