As long as people keep transferring to the winning world for free rankings mean nothing IMHO. It creates imbalance and discourages others from joining in.

I wish people would quit whining about losing and get better instead of making excuses. If people want to transfer to winning servers and have hour long queues more power to them. if you transfer mid cycle you don’t get the benifits for that cycle.

The problem is that while people transferring to winning servers face longer ques, the strong get stronger while the losing servers get even weaker. If you’re going to whine about people whining, you should at least understand the problem first.

All the people I know who went hunting for a “winning server” were there maybe 2-3 days before they gave up on the queues and left.

Actually they don’t. They just get longer queues. HoD has been winning from the start. They’re now in the situation where good WvWers just hang out in queues for hours on end.

If anything guilds going there now are just in it for a free-ride. Its hard to add value to a side that’s already on top of the pile.

There’s a growing amount of WvWers who could be putting themselves onto the field of battle but instead stand in line. 5th and 6th spot on the ranks could really give 1-4 a run for the their money if guilds moved off HoD.

Remember when Horde were known for been the best pvpers in WoW, then a whole bunch of Alliance transferred over then, they became just as bad, theres a connection.

I wish people would stop using the excuse “get better” or “you’re just bad” and admit that an aspect of the game is fundamentally flawed.

I personally don’t need to play wvwvw to enjoy the game at all. In fact, joining it now just fills me with rage and I would rather not even bother. I’m sure a lot of the people on other losing servers have this mentality and so ‘getting better’ isn’t possible. There is no such thing as coordinate when it comes to wvwvw. The only thing that matters is peoples desire/dedication to return to the fight after they’ve died. Most people are deterred from doing this due to the long travel times. And, no, “get better and don’t die” isn’t an option when it comes to zergs.

Henge is my home, why should I be the one to leave because other people are inviting themselves in?

Why would anyone transfer to the winning server? I would think people would want to be the third worst server, which server is that?

That would be Borlis Pass, but people were leaving in droves this weekend.

If you’re truly bored with WvW, transfer to HoD, afk in their queues and when you get in, just gather / jumping puzzle / troll chat. If I ever get bored with gw2 my last act would be to transfer to the #1 server and do that in windowed mode as I browse the internets.
