Guild Wars 2

The game is just not fun anymore, 3/4 of the 4 maps are the exact same.

Idk how many more times I can take Bay without losing my mind!!!

With all of the technology in the gw2 world, why am I stuck running around with a hammer like is 1589?

Look at all the cool war machines, the char have!!! Why cant I use any of it?
(Norn storyline, Remeber when you got in the char tank and blew up kitten!!)

Look at all the awsome asura technology, but im stuck with this dumb golem, that goes .1 miles a hour, and the only use for it is to spam number 1 and knock down a door for 1 minute.

I feel like im playing a dumb downed version of daoc, with better graphics.

We need Char Tanks!!!!

We need Asura Airships!!!!

We need machine guns on keeps!!!

We need troop transport vehicles!!!!(If the Dumb, no brain dredge have them, why cant I???)

Take a break from either WvW or the game, I ran dungeons nonstop past 2 months and really enjoying WvW. My friends have actually started playing again so they want to run dungeons and I can say that if you take a break from what you are currently doing you will come back refreshed and be able to enjoy it more. Most of us agree tho that having to wait till February for the major PvP patch is way to long but hopefully for January they don’t do new content but focus on revamping current content.

Being able to make WvW teams for more active competition for WvW oriented players would be nice. That way you could balance your team composition over timezones and select people who can actually play with you on the same map. Also rewards could be better. Or it could be a minigame inside WvW sort of thing to still keep ordinary WvW populated. It should be still somewhat casual style instead of super hardcore pvp so you could still form pretty random groups and go smash ppl with difference that ppl were somewhat preselected instead of just totally random naked guys just in for 100% world explore.

Im not the only one who “Doesnt like” the game…..

Just look at your guild roster………..3/4 are inactive, unless your guild leader does a monthly cleaning.

My guild was almost 1,000 strong first month of the game, we are now down to less then 200.

look at any of the top W3 server’s, SOS,JQ or SBI…..atleast half of there guilds roster are inactive.

So while your enjoying doing the same thing everyday all the time, 60% w3 players have quit, and 80% of the current w3 players are bored of it.

Game is still fun and has its moments but am glad it’s free 2 play.

Dont you think its pretty much awesome that we have all the siege equipment that we do ( and a trabuchet !!!) allready ?> while as far as i know no any other game has such thing, not even the idea of it. Allthough, some race specific sieges, like laser canons and stuff, would be awesome in the future.

You could argue that the rams are Asura race specific sieges. All rams have the trade mark Asura cubes underneath of them, causing them to float.

You OP take your personal opinion and place it above the rest of players’ opinions. Granted WvW can get dull at times. And some of your points are valid. However, many of us enjoy WvW day in and day out.

What dies a little every day to you, might not for the rest of us.

People are leaving, but because it is free to play you will find many will come back to check out the game every now and then or during major patches. The game doesn’t have a carrot or a very small one compared to other mmo’s and due to the no keeping up with the joneses policy you will see more fluctuation in player based due to this.

Personally I have not grown tired of w3. Absolutely love it but I do think Anet have no idea what a beast they have created. With just a little more love and design modification how they are so close to one of the best pvp game modes ever made.

It’s safe to say I have probably quit the game, I play in a wvw guild and I have spent hundreds of hours of gametime in wvw. It now got to the point that its just unenjoyable to even log in. It’s the same thing day in day out. wvw is dull and boring and im noticing a lot of people get bored and quit the game. The only reasonI even log in is because of my guild.

1500+ hours, still confused why I sign on other than to collect badges (souls) and helping Maguuma get better ranked so everyone can get their own taste of Maguuma defense.

Thanks for the endgame Anet!!!!!!! (Go for legendary? Already have and working on second only because nothing else to spend on other than gear cosmetics)

Thread title should be “I’m not satisfied with WvW so I’m going to make a blanket statement addressing 1/3 the game across all servers to make my thread sound alarming!”

Wish I had read this before posting. I am sure many of us feel this way about WvW, it is such a tease with too much potential…..but Anet would rather spend time making Lost shores…..or other PvE related things that might not be as urgent as WvW (due to majority of the WvW focused players leaving for a plethora of UNADDRESSED reasons)

Why are there posts like this?

The game is what you make it, if you’re filled with endless zergs then make plans of action to change that.

I led a 4 hour attack on fully upgraded SM, began outmanned and as word spread EB began to fill up and the week long home to the german server had it’s wall taken down and inner gate taken down.

I loved it!! It was the best time I’ve ever had on WvW and although it wasn’t successful it was a right hoot scaring the winning force and attempting to evict them from their week long home
