Hi All,

I’m working on Map Completion for my Legendary Weapon, and will be finishing the PvE map this week (maybe today, in fact). I have also completed the Green Borderlands WvWvW map, but still have to do Red, Blue and EB.

I’m on JQ and every time I have looked for several weeks we have been Green team. Does anyone have any tips as to how I can get Blue and Red if things stay that way? We are currently in second and so may change colors next week but the server has a way of pulling out the win. I’d prefer not to leave JQ if possible since it has a great community, and is a full server so it might be impossible to return.

One other thing – I have been starting to run the JP in Green Borderlands. Can I do it on multiple characters each day? I also found that when I ran up there on a level 6 character and logged out, when I logged back in I was back in the PvE map. Why is that?

Well the simple answer is have your server capture the objectives, that of course is easier said than done.

Map positions and team color is determined by your server’s ranking, highest rated in your tier = green, 2nd highest = red, and lowest = blue. If you’re green this week but currently in 2nd place. Next week, you should fall down to 2nd and get the red portions of the maps. Then, just pick on those weak blue guys and take all their stuff.

Yeah, JQ has been Green on tier 1 for quite a long time and has a way of pulling things together for the win. It might actually happen this week that we go to Red but I can’t see Blue happening anytime soon.

Any other way to get it done, short of a server transfer? Is it possible to run the maps during Server Reset?

If World Completion is the last thing you need to craft your legendary, maybe think of a server transfer. If its the first Gift you´re working on to craft your legendary, dont bother with it for now. You will have months in front of you to grind out all the gold, pre-cursor and ingredients. In that time, check back once a week into wvw to see, if your color changed. Or actually take active part in wvw, if you like it and capture those objectives.

Yes, although PvE World Completion is almost done, I’m still at around 650,000 karma and still need the WvWvW badges and a few dungeon tokens, so I’m not there yet.

I guess I’ll just factor it into my daily routine as you suggest. Do the Daily, do WvWvW JP, and then do a little WvWvW and check status of points.

just sit in wvw and you will eventually get them all. well i have 2 toons both have wvw completion waaaaaaaay before whole world completion. i spend most of my time in wvw.

If you can get online in the morning, like between 6am and 10am server time, you may have a better chance completing Blue and Red map exploration objectives. Just follow FoO around. During NA it will be much harder for you. Also, even if BG manages to win the match this week JQ will still be the Green server next week.

Thanks! Yes, I’ve seen their videos and might try that.

I guess I can find them by asking in map chat. Or just following the trail of corpses and loot bags…

Regarding the jump puzzles, you can indeed do them with each of your alts. However, they reset exactly 24 hours after you do them, so you need to keep track of when exactly you last did them on each char.

Regarding being in PvE when you logged out, this is normal whenever you log out of WvW.

Regarding JQ , it could slip to second place overall if Blackgate wins a few weeks in a row, meaning JQ will become Blue. Check out http://mos.millenium.org/matchups#NA to see the rankings.

I wouldn’t be to concerned, at least in the long term. ANet is very good at getting the PvE community what they want. Its become clear that its impossible for some people to get 100% map completion due to WvW, they will adjust it at some stage.
