See what happens when each server has an orb? It is a MUCH closer fight as the lead has been changing hands in the past couple days, rather than when one server having all 3 orbs completely dominating the other 2.
I say remove the orb buff or change it to something else.

WvW seems much more fun in this manner.
I really dislike the Orb buffs as well. When one server begins to dominate, it just puts things even more in their favor and what would be a close match potentially becomes a landslide. Change the buffs to be something that doesn’t impact player power such as more coin and/or better XP/karma from kills, an increase in supply rates (faster dolyaks, more supplies per dolyak, etc), gate/wall strength increases, or faster upgrades.
Well I would say each server has 1 orb BECAUSE it’s such an even match not the other way around. That said, I also don’t care for the orb or it’s buffs.

Wow… I was thinking that Desolation had it bad, but although one server beat us badly (French-Canadian people on French servers WvW well after EU people have gone to bed and easily get all the orbs) our score wasn’t that far behind the winners.

Having orbs = meaningless.
Our server held all 3 orbs yesterday and we are severly outnumbered and far at the 3rd place. It helps nothing at all.
If your server is already crushing the opposition, having the orbs will not change it.
If your server is already crushed by the enemy numbers, having orbs will not change it either.

Right… take a look at the icon on your buff bar next time you get an orb. 3x orb = 15% to health pool, 150 points to every stat on your character, you’ll have much more power, crit, toughness, vitality.
I do like the dyanamic of what Anet was thinking with the orb concept. However in practice due to unscrupulous players it is becoming frustrating.
I would like to see the orb represent a central fixed point, unmovable, which automatically changed hands with the taking of the keep. Obviously all home maps have a main keep and they should be what houses the orbs permanently. That way they become a focal point. But the buff should be eliminated and should just add a trickle to the owner’s score
