WvWvW population balance
Server transfers need to be restricted further. If matches are going to last 1 week, then transfers should be once every 2 weeks or something (to prevent server hoping for easy wins). With this, ANET can figure out where population clusters are and encourage some guilds to transfer to less populated servers during their prime time. Something like a unique title, special in game items, etc for a guild that meets the criteria. Then, they can funnel people new people, based on region, into servers to even out the play times better. Of course, for this to work ANET needs to get their guest system working.
Server transfers are one of the issue here but the main one is: how do you deal with situations when it’s 150vs50 players on a map? Currently, winning WvWvW is mainly about outnumbering the opponent. And it’s not that hard when the leading server gets the three orbs and all points of the map. No one wants to get in a fight that they know is already lost and pay for it (you’ll be dying a lot thus spending a lot of money). The game might be one week long but when the top server of the match already has twice the amount of points you do after only two days, there is no incentive to try and get back to the fight…
The whole point of restricting free server transfers further and incentivizing guilds to transfer to less populated (in WvW) servers is to try to get better even matches. If you are 150 v 50 v X because you got stomped in the first 2 days and no one wants to play you should lose
i could be ok if they at least bound your account to your original server when it comes to wvwvw. so you transfer toa a server but you cant join wvwvw until after let ssay 72 hours. and if you after 72 hours decide to transfer again ou are bound to the last server when it comes to wvwvw for 72 hours. That would limit somewhat their affect on the wvwvw score.

So would increasing the transfer time, which would accomplish the same thing without all the extra coding.
