Dear all,

I am playing on the low active underworld server.
Last week, during wvsw (Edge of the
Mist) we had a blast and won for days in a row.
As of this week however, we are back to the miserable small teams (9-15 people tops) and don’t stand a chance. I play every day at the same time. How can it be that last week we were so much better and always had a full squad?

I also noticed that we are back using our old starting position which is the bottom of the map. Last week, when we did very well, it was the top.

What changed?

Summer break and Overwatch has seen a rather large effect on populations in the game here in the states. I am also sure some players have come back, had their fill and left until WvW sees more changes.

Could have been the server you were linked with?

First, Edge of the Mists (EotM) is not WvW. Two different things.

• WvW is 3 servers matched up together for a week long war. This is the best.
  • Each server is assigned a color, Red, Blue or Green. The colors don’t really matter except they have different starting places.
  • Each match is played on 4 maps. One Eternal Battlegrounds and 3 copies of a Borderland, each server gets a BL.

• EotM is 3 hour “mini-matches” played with the same groupings per week
  • It is a battle between all the Green Servers vs. the Blue Servers vs. the Red Servers from WvW.

The reason you change colors (starting places) in EotM from week to week is because your server can change its WvW color each week.

You should try WvW too. Its much better. Talk to your server mates, they’ll show you the ropes I’m sure.
