I read in patch notes that xp gains have been removed from wvwvw and you now level through participation system that will reward a free level (how often seems unclear).
Is this faster or slower than former leveling system?
Does gathering herbs and stuff not reward xp either?
Thinking about perhaps making a return to GW2, but if leveling is slowed down in order to sell more boosts I probably won’t return :/

Ironically, the WvW Beta buff gives +15% exp from kills despite kills no longer giving exp.

How often do they drop? Do they come with every progress reward or are they quite rare? Thinking if it’s viable to level in wvwvw with that change

I got about 6 tomes within 2 hours while running around in BL map with pug group.

I run reset for 4 hours and had 14 of them in the end. So you can still level up in wvw without any issues. I think it goes even faster now.

I got a toon with a tonne of buffs, even on the old WvW XP booster on it so I wonder if those make any progress faster on the reward tracks?
