So what happens to someone who is over rank 5k, transfers 4 days before patch happens to play with guild, has zero heads up on forums and news updates, then tries to play wvw – anet punishes by providing no pips, no retroactive reward, says grats on having over 4k World Ability Points with nothing to spend them on, and …. thanks Anet; i feel like buying gems now.

I have the same issue mate, you will start getting pips after full matchup you play. So if you transferred on Friday before reset, you will start getting pips next mu, if on Saturday, then you have to wait next week too. Just dont worry about it too much,

But its ok I think, its just a few days, I am not superficial enough to care about having backpack or asc pieces 3 days later. Transferring should have some punishment, its here now. At least you don’t have to transfer in the near future or are stuck without your guild now that bunch of servers have been set full ^^
