We’ve been in tier 3 for 4 weeks against much larger servers, we are not recruiting to win in T4 which we have already proven we can do. We dont even have significantly different populations that servers we are fighting right now. Maybe you should see t3 and fight TC and then you’ll see what outmanned really means.

Either way, keep this on topic. I am one of the people who have been looking for a good server for the longest time, and I have settled on YB because it has a friendly community that never gives up and never gives an easy win. YB has been moving up in ranks since I joined it until we hit t3 and faced TC which outnumbers us big time. Other than that, there’s no server that YB has fought that we have not beaten (Granted we have lost to CD and FA just like we also beat them).

If you want to join a highly organized competitive friendly server that is not “full”, then I don’t think many servers would give a better opportunity than YB.

I logged off at 0400 this morning after being a part of the Ebayers repeatedly whipping the Yak zerg.

Umm, I was there fighting by your keep, you guys had like 8 people at spawn we have about 10 as well defending the keep, the only difference is we had siege and NPC’s. But alright…. don’t know what to tell you. If you are going to complain that we have a higher population server then go complain in the matchup thread. Dont see why you need to bring it here it’s hurting your servers reputation.

Yak’s is a great server. They put up a great showing in T3 despite having easily the lowest population out of TC/CD/FA/YB, and they make their numbers count. Looking forward to your return to T3 with more population to bring the pain!

Sometimes you need to get with the program if you want to be better than T4.

We enjoyed the competition as well Rhongomyniad and learned a lot from TC. Unfortunately I don’t see us returning any time soon, we need more Prime Time players. Seems we’ve had a slight drop in the last couple of weeks.

We have fought hard to rise through theTiers and have minimal to nonexistent que times on reset nights. Yak’s are led by a group of calm and skilled commanders on a 1,000 slot mumble server.

I’m from TC, just saw this page on top under W3 section and hopped in to say hi to my YB brethren. I don’t usually invade other server threads, and apologize if you guys don’t like my presence here :p

I gotta be honest here, many on TC actually love YB for their fighting spirit and the kind of sportsmanship they can show even during some of the toughest situations. It’s sad that you guys lack the population to stay in T3, but would love to have you guys back again soon. Throughout the one full month of fighting you guys, I personally haven’t found a single act that could point fingers at you in the department of trolling or indecent behavior at any point, in-game or on forums. You guys have lots of class, and in the defense department, I’m sure you guys know why we TC with our numbers haven’t managed to take much in your BL. You guys outshine any T3 server in defense.

I’d definitely recommend YB to anyone looking for a server with a great skillful playerbase with a great fighting spirit. They can use a lot of players during NA primetime slot to stay competitive and move up to T3 where we could have fun, well-balanced matchups again where you could bring back the pain to us!

Thanks again for the kind words from TC. We hold the same respect for your server as you also play with skill, solid tactics and your playerbase has a lot of class as well. We shall meet again and we look forward to the challenge.

I have played many team oriented PvP games…..GW 1, Warhammer etc and Yaksbend has to be the most organized, and friendly group I have ever gamed with…..

As a TC player that fought for 3 weeks, I can say that YB are honest players. I didn’t see them exploit any of the knows WWW bugs, I never had any of them dance on my corpse nor did they ever camp the Jumping Puzzle (except one of their players, once, but that was quickly resolved).

If you are looking for honest players (and you do not like to play on Tarnished Coast, hehe), YB is certainly for you!

The Legendary Yak’s Bend server is still looking for more WvW players. We could use some more support for all timezones. We especially need more Oceanic and EU presence to have fun controlling the maps.

Maguuma, and I think DB, were the first servers to fight the newly superpowererd TC. We’re not new to TC… Actually basically every T1-T3 server went through Maguuma first.
