Well I could have told Anet years ago that there are lag issues with online games, so now there are a lot of people who have quit the game my friend, wonder how we gonna get them back ? look it is very simple, it is an issue that can not be fixed. Guess we just have to move along then.

Regardless of previous posts, zerging is not an interesting method of game play.

Its called WvWvW for a reason…It’s supposed to be Zerg vs Zerg,the culling issue however ( if that’s what youre refering too,since you wern’t quite clear ) WIll be eliminated in the next big update,March.

Zerg vs zerg fights are real fights. Even in movies zerg vs zerg is most entertaining.

zerg is the way unskilled players can get some results.
Then they call it “epic” and reach heart’s-ease.
I don’t mind it.
There are tactics involved, usually and mostly flanking the other zerg. These are the fun open field fights. Usually both zergs end up spreading out when trying to out flank the others.
I do find it fun when our zerg smashes their zerg. Sucks to be on the receiving end but their zerg is just as big as ours and have done the same.
Regardless of previous posts, zerging is not an interesting method of game play FOR ME.

I’m not a fan of zerging, but what is someone who doesn’t play 4-5 hours a day, maybe even not playing 4-5 hours per week, supposed to do if he wants to wvw? You have to remember, this gme ha no subscription fee, people are going to be popping in and out for the life of the game, and not always playing regularly. Zerging is here to stay, learn to deal with it.
Reading the OP previous posts is very interesting. Almost every post is a complain on every aspect of the game.
Zerging will only be interesting when Culling and Lag doesn’t exist…

wvw fight should be like alliance battles were, each keep a different instanced map. teams that win a certain map X times control it and gain points for thier world. structured server groups for guilds/friends, and hotjoin option.
would have been SO much better then what we have now, which is zerg vs zerg greater numbers win. small zergs is fun, large ones i get lag. alliance battles would pretty much have been small zergs, fun for all.
gw1 really was a better game for pvp play types, balance, and class options…. )=

If you have superior numbers, you use them.
If you have superior tactics, you use them.
What’s the difference?
Zerg is a way for the less experienced players to learn more about wvw without being slaughtered. Again, I’m not sure why gathering a large force isn’t considered a valid tactic.
You can cry about it being less skilled all you want, no one cares. There’s always going to be strength in numbers, to punish zergs would be silly wouldn’t it?

Strength in numbers is fine, it is when you have silly things like the AOE limit of 5 targets, the rez mechanic, very small maps, objectives very close together, etc that then give an even further advantage to that one tactic, that it becomes all a bit lame and just screams poor design.

I can certainly understand that argument, I’m more referring to those of us who want to severely punish people for doing something natural and frankly should be encouraged(grouping) or eliminate large groups all together.
It’s silly, isn’t it? Remove the AOE limits so we can fight them fairly, but other than that leave it. Don’t nerf the mob.
I just don’t see the logic in getting upset in people making large groups in a game mode based around war.
