a hypothetical: Ruins across the entire map
Personally i think it would be better..way too many open spaces. If the whole map was a ruined city, that would be way more interesting and entertaining.

Low mobility builds would have an easier time; since broken terrain would allow them to duck behind cover faster.
Small groups could make hit and run attacks far more effectively against a zerg for the same reason.
Getting a mass of people from A to B cohesively would be more difficult and time consuming.
These are not bad things.
If it were lots of tight spaces, prepare for even more #camera complaints.
My initial analysis of the concept is that it would result in very quick battles because the damage couldn’t be avoided as easily. Staff eles and boon strippers would probably be kings. Ballistas would be OP (but AC would still rule) and trebs… would still be powerful because of splash – point blank with cloud might be interesting.
Game would be better if they combined all the borderlands into one massive map, preventing huge zergs from responding to a 5 man team capturing a tower and basically making the came not fun for the small-fry.
The maps are too small, it’s way to easy for a zerg to respond to anywhere on the map within minutes.
Simply have skills that do base damage… + 2% damage per enemy ally within 600 range. That would help get rid of zerging. Have no upper limit.
