It’s not the first time that servers have had an alliance and it wont be the last. They’re three-way battles for a reason.

What you do is, you run straight between their two zergs and let them both attack you at the same time.

Best way to break an alliance is a lot of friendly stomping. :p

As much as it sucks, it’s a legit tactic, and it is unlikely Anet will change that.

Take pride in the fact that two servers are working together against you, that’s how much of a threat they think you are.

And you didn’t bother to mention why alliances are a bad thing.

Let alone, how would you prove such a thing?

theres no way to prove such thing for 100% but atleast they can like never put 2 german servers in the same match or 2 french servers in the same match , to keep fairness at it 100%

I personally don’t think they are allied at all given there are plenty of times of day where MS borderlands is entirely red >.>

If anything, it’s simply that GH are winning the matchup, but by a small enough margin that both servers know they can catchup, but to do so they need to cut our points income.

Actually, in the german forums Millersound complains about being our prime target.

Last time we fought, GH complained about us because we “never left our homeland”. It seems whatever AM does, it’s wrong.

This thread must be a joke…. AM and MS are repeatedly hitting each other, in fact MS are barely entering our border. This is an even matchup and please dont give their servers bad names by rage flaming them.

Have to say I agree with Yorric on this. Its been a really good match up so far and I’ve seen plenty of fighting between AM and MS. Please don’t sour it with unfounded accusations of alliances.

Had some really good fights with both Abbadons and Millers this week, hope both of your servers are enjoying the match as well.

Really this is one of the closest scorewise there has been in a while, so throwing out accusations is just making it look like “The only way they could possibly be almost equal with us is via an alliance” which smacks of ego and arrogance.

I sat and watched both German zergs tearing at each other in EB, it’s really great to watch them go at it – until they spot you that is

Saw a couple of them running together earlier, but it was no biggie to me. I myself sat with a player from one of our lovely opponents while she chatted to my guildies post fight. Sometimes players just stop to say well done, or meet up with their friends for a lark. Doesn’t mean the entire servers are in some sneaky alliance.

I suggest you take Alphas suggestion and use our community forums before posting things like this, it’s not only bad for your guild, but bad for our server as a whole. There’s no need to flame, enjoy the loot bags they bring to the table.

When we took SM yesterday AM was under attack from Millers also. It was a really fun battle, AM got it from both sides and i’ve seen numerous Miller – AM fights. I even teamed up with a Millers player to take out a pesky AM mesmer before we tore into each other after he was killed. The battle went back and forth and became one of attrition we eventually won.

So far this week i have seen both AM & Millers break of engaments or leave GH players alone to rip into each other first. I dont think there’s any alliance or agreement. It’s just very close this week. There is also the matter of time of day. More people are on in the evenings so that’s when you see the zerges. And yes, if you just got ganked by AM and 5 minutes later Millers it might seem they have an alliance. But look at it from Millers or AM’s side. They just got ganked by GH and 5 minutes later the other shows up to gank them again.

Now if i was AM or Miller i’d say GH was teaming up with the other.

So far this is my best week in WvW, though i’m only there since a short time, with good fair fights and “normal” players on the other side.

With FS you could not roam around carefully trying to take a vista without being pounded on time and time again. This week i helped (and he/she helped me) a Millers player get a skillpoint after which we departed with a polite bow, and took a Vista occupied by AM. Came in waved, they waved back. Walked up to the vista took it and left with another polite bow. Now i’m pretty sure later that evening it was the same player at the vista i fought at SM and who kicked my kitten

Now that might also just have been players there just for the poi’s, skills & vista and not caring about WvW. But still, it’s an even and fair match up imho and i’ve seen no evidence of an alliance.

And that stuff can back-fire. A couple of weeks ago IoJ did that with DR. Since it was DR that started the process, we spent a week crushing them at every opportunity.

So, while they were clearly better than IoJ and could have been a legitimate contender (and at least solid second place) had they gone straight with the competition, we drove them into third by leaving IoJ alone and focusing on them.

well when the millers zerg is all standing 50 yards to the side and watching how abaddon is killing us at our keep while they possess our 4 towers… does indeed make you think. i have not noticed any kind of that behaviour on all the borderlands (where i would agree on the judgement the general focus is on AM), but on EB its quite clear there are some german EB commanders communicating with each other and making plans to work together. this happens during the afternoon mostly, in the evening i havent yet witnessed this. also this occurs quite often in all the matchups and usually isnt even being denied, afterall its not forbidden, just painfull for us :P also EB is really boring when you dont 2v1, its just getting farmed by the one sitting in SM which is not us, as a matter of fact.

I can understand the way you feel. But your accusation is baseless. Abaddons Mouth does not make any alliances. Also, we were during the week on 2nd place. I didn´t heard you complaining when your server was leading. So why you are complaining now ? Try to be in the second place and feel the heat from both sides. Sofar we held our position really solid. We are getting better with every week.

For me personally this weeks matchup was fun. Please do not ruin it with baseless accusations.

I don’t know the history of these servers but if GH is the dominant server then the other two should gang up on them. Better than having a blowout and your servers getting demoralized which happens in the NA tiers.

This is good play. Its good for the game and makes for a more interesting match. And I see that GH is winning so if there is an alliance it has made for a great match.

The complaints from Millsound are mostly about EB. They keep telling us, that we never attack Gunnars but only them.

Maybe the Millers you saw didn’t attack, because they were too surprised to see us fighting?
