Guild Wars 2

So i’ve been on Fort Aspenwood for awhile now, and i really enjoy WVW…but it’s been almost impossible to get a new guild off the ground there. My friend’s are scattered across half a dozen servers but even all together it’s still only about 8 people.

We had been looking into paying to transfer a couple people to FA since it has such an active WVW community but..again, trying to make a new guild there has been an exercise in frustration.

If i do decide to transfer, which server would be the most..wvw friendly?

Henge of Denravi or Eredon Terrace most likely.

SF if you are an oceanic player. But then, SF has a strong WvW community and a great pve community if your into that.

Henge of Denravi has a very active and friendly WvW community. We have several large WvW guilds, and though we’re by no means a high tier server, you’ll still find our matchups to be pretty competitive and fun.

T8 isn’t friendly… You will fight against fierce overwhelming odds, drama from the disgruntled people, and right now, some idiots that are trying to move more people out of ET to HoD.

I came to HoD several days ago. I joined [VLK] Valkyria Immortalis. I’ve enjoyed this server a lot more than SoR, which is were I came from. I also spent time on Yaks Bend. I like HoD the most so far and checked out several other servers before deciding to go to HoD. The great thing is that we are doing quite well against higher population servers. If we get some more players and better coverage we could rise at least a couple of tiers. Most of the people over here I’ve run into are good people. I like the smaller scale fighting from time to time and the challenge.

There seems to be several different guild sizes that are dedicated to WvW. Right now we are sitting at 44 active members. There are also bigger and smaller guilds too. If you want to start a new guild up I’m not sure how you will do. Even on higher pop servers it isn’t easy. More and more people want to be in a bigger guilds due to the way guild events work. I like that our guild isn’t very big but most of the members are active and we all get a chance to get to know each other.

All servers have their ups and downs, but I have enjoyed HoD the most so far. Granted I haven’t been here very long. Though right away I started enjoying it here and on other servers it’s taken a while or I ultimately didn’t end up liking the said server.
