aoe and siege
Here’s an Adderall. Take it, and come back with one reasonable suggestion instead of 5 insane ones and we’ll talk.
I propose that All aoe skills cannot effect outer edge defender such as walls and siege that are carefully placed in turn the attacker can only be hit by PvP player on ground or by siege on wall
Again this effect outer wall edge ish.
Oh and Another option would be that when ever siegerazer cap a tower or what ever he does he stays there for 4 hrs to defend that one cap. Additionally you are unable to place siege in that cap. Siegerazor give you five to defend with last four hrs and 30 min superior of course to help defender to get some upgrade and such so it does not get recap just because of weak walls.
Oh and can we get dragons event to razed keep n such like a dynamic event This would be awsome plus the dragon give 20 wvw badge to all that made an effort to kill him or her Or how about randomly attack borderland or home portal. So that when the server is fightning him other server will backdoor capping tower n keep such.
Mainly this is to keep server zerg from zerging 100%. of course the dragon is gonna award awsome stuff.

You need to be playing dungeons instead of thinking up ways to make WvW look like a dungeon.

cactus your thinking is off. Im talking about a random creature larger then you can ever imagine throwing your commander off his stool. Saying like “what the hell?” we had the 100% now a fierce dragon comes down and messses that up. Calling it the Bully time.
like someone said a good soak to keep the overwhelming avantage a challenge while leaving the two poorer server time to bounce back and rally their server.
I do like the dragon but rather than player count make it based on landslide victories. Say make it a 50-100k point lead you get dragon events and the dragons shoot trebs shots at your keeps so that if you ignore it you will lose all your walls and dragon minions will flood in and take the keep. They would also have to modify the ranking system though otherwise servers would get stuck in their tier even more than they are now.
Adding PvE into PvP is meh at best but it would give the super dominant servers something to do.
All terrible ideas, based on hindering free play in WvW. As for the dragon idea, all dedicated players agree there is already too much PvE in WvW. If you want to PvE then go crazy and do it in PvE areas.

Place your siege correctly and it wont be AOE’d.

Umm, no.
If severely limited by siege you place while being slammed by the enemy it’ll hurt you more then anything when they are trying to retake your tower.

Keep Dragons and PvE to PvE maps. No need to bring more PvE into WvW. You have grub, worms, a giant tree, ect…

Muy- Sooo ur logic is what does hylek has to do with W3. What does Skrit have to do with WC. What does Centaur has to do with W3. What does krait has to do with W3. What does lighting storm does to W3. What does dredge has to do with W3. lastly my idea what does Dragon has to do with W3. Simple to provide that Npc enemy or ally how ever way you want to look at it. That causes confusion and chaos to the rank of the overwhelming team

So why have him stand there making a tower full of siege and players invulnerable?
Seems like a server would start event, cap a tower, and just leave 1 person or no one in the tower for 4hours of the NPC guarding it.
Please don’t take everyone’s opinion which is against yours as them being opposed to any change. Take a look at it and think like others do and realize some of the ideas weren’t thought out well, or didn’t provide enough specifics for a lot to agree with you.
Think out your ideas, post them, along with specifics of how you think things should work. Then you might be able to explain your point of view much better to others and get a different response.
Like if Siegeraizer will stay for 4hours and make all siege superior and unable to be taken down, then I see it as completely pointless.
However if he stays for 15 minutes and 90% of players on your side have to be within a certain range and he does it I could be ok with that. (Including if new players for your team enter a map, the # would increase as to how many need to be at the NPC. To avoid people abusing it.)

I really dont like PVE in PVP….but if they would do it i like the idea of when a server have a 30K lead that it will trigger a event against that server(like a powerfull dragon) destroying their siege and their gates. So mabye people stop get 600+ leads at night cuz when they get that big lead it will trigger this event.

or at least make the pve meaningful to the wvw cause like the hylek, quaggan, dredge, and ogres.
Dragon would be aweseome. I’ve never gotten to see a dragon because all I do is WvW.
It would have to be big and bad enough so that it cannot be ignored. And it would have to fly all around the map, not just stand in one place like the giant worm.
To mishi the siegerazor is there for the losing side and the four hours stay is to show people that Press B or what ever hotkey yall use for teleport to WvW. Is that there is still a chance to make a change in WvW.

So he stands suggestion wise there for 4hours. Now what’s set in place to avoid people abusing it to have siege with 1 defender on a map, and hitting the next?
The NPC is not for the “losing side only” just for people who lose all positions on 1 map.
As it stands if you allow him to go into a tower for 4 hours and it makes siege invulnrable, then 1 person or no one would have to stay on the tower (or 2 if home BL or EBG) thus allowing people to abuse it and fully cap other maps (If able) while allowing the NPC and tower to rack up extra PPT without anyone being able to do anything against it.
As bad as it is, if Anet tweaks something, players will abuse it. People already do, like not killing the NPC as it is, to avoid another event from starting, ect…
