What are they actually used for ,is it really worth arguing to make instant pickup when there is so little to buy with them
You can buy weapons and armor with it and you need it for your legendary weapon aswell. So I agree, I miss lota of badges while running away from an enemy zerg…

I think they should make the loot bags more visible at least maybe a beam of light coming up from them
Auto-loot badges to inventory, and make the bags “appear” faster. WvW is a game of mobility so having to wait on the hopes of a bag/chest appearing is flawed.

Has always been my issue, I never notice the bags until i turn around and look back on where I’ve run because they finally rendered.

Yeah, usually I’m too focused on living/playing to actually notice the bags dropping during combat. The only time I get to collect them is after everyone is dead. If I die, I don’t get to pick up my bags. There have been a few moments where I have literally committed suicide and run into an enemy zerg just to pick up my loot.
I’m fairly certain that I would have twice as many badges as I do now if there was an auto-loot.
