I doubt the commander book will ever be up for badges. Too many people would complain they had to spend 100g on it.

My biggest hope for tomorrow’s patch is that it doesn’t totally break something.

My biggest hope for tomorrow’s patch is for ANet to stand down from their ill-conceived “free transfers to medium pop servers” fiasco and actually FIX the T8 Glicko Ghetto problem (by adding a floor and a ceiling to the ratings).

Won’t happen, but a girl can dream.

My biggest hope is that there won’t be a login wars right after the patch, not very likely but you can always hope. Also that the cosmetic stuff you can buy with badges will be well tough and have a reasonable price.

Of course I hope the same Cactus hopes that nothing gets broken, but there usually is small things that get altered when patches like these get released, so I hope people will report those stuff right away and that ANet can figure out a fix that wont break the stuff that broke the other stuff in the first place (if that made any sense, lol)

Arenanets offices are located in the pacific timezone in the USA, so it will probably be during the standard workday when they have the most staff on hand. 9am-5pm most likely around noon.

I hope i can buy ascended gear with tokens and without doing daylies for more then a month, because i refuse to do pve.
And i hope their will be again changes so running in one big blob isnt the best tactic anymore.

Well if they did carry over the current badges to gold ratio they use for siege, it’d be 10,000 badges to buy commander. Have fun farming that many as a new player.

1 Golem is 100 badges and 1 gold. Commander is 100g, so that’s 100×100 = 10,000

I was hoping for an exclusive WvW ascended item too but we’re already been told it isn’t going to happen. Too bad really. It would be a lot of fun to watch these forums erupt with screaming PvE players telling us how much this isn’t fair.

It would be fun in game too, as clueless PvE players show up and get slaughtered.

Sadly, all we’re getting in terms of skins/gear is the stuff that the PvE players already, aka, what we should have had available when the game launched.

My biggest hope for tomorrow’s patch is that there wasn´t necessary to play PVE for getting the best items any more. No way if i need to kill critters and that stuff or to run dungeons to equip myself.

A new player probably shouldn’t be a commander anyway.

My biggest hope is that everything they told us up till now was a april fools joke and the patch is going to be awesome filled with everything we (wvw players) requested.

My biggest hope is that people who play WvW will stop pretending they are completely separated from the PvE game, are a persecuted minority, and zomg should never have to do anything else but cap out and recap out BLs and EB again and again and again.

They will fix lags.
They will recalculate old WvW achievments so we will not be forced to farm WXP from the zero

I don’t have the time to find the source on this, but this hope was already addressed by a dev when ranks were first announced. There won’t be any retroactive WXP. Everyone starts at 0 today.

The culling issue and stealth issues are resolved. It’s sucks when you’re a smaller-pop server playing over your head fighting a crap server who can’t stay with the big-boys but field huge zergs on every map and win fights by blowing you up by stacking Mass Invs plus exploiting culling.

LOL. It looks like that hope of mine didn’t pan out at all. ANet had to shut down WvW entirely after the patch. I guess that’s one way to make culling go away.
