Guild Wars 2

So I just watched a zerg of ~50 people melee AP gate down with me, on a mortar with T4 mastery, and 2 trebs hitting them the whole time..which is a bit stupid that such a feat is possible in its self. So I decided to throw some points into the mortar T5 mastery skill Concussion Barrage that would knock down foes where they land!
Guess what they forgot to mention this skill is ground targeted..and has 1/3 the range of the other mortar skills AND only hits 10 targets at once unlike all other siege that hits 50… I feel completely cheated out of 25 WvW points no where in the upgrade description does it say SHORT RANGE SHOT OF MORTARS.

If so, then I know from personal playing on engineer is not worth it.

This could be useful in certain situations if it doesn’t have a minimum range.

Still sounds underwhelming though.

Does it have minimum range and does it need LOS?

Why on earth would they make a Line of Sight skill for a Mortar? The Mortar is the very DEFINITION of an Indirect Fire weapon. Might as well put Concussion Shot on a Cannon. At least that would make sense.
