Crazy idea with no merit probably but there’s a lot of discontent over how stale and imbalanced some of the matches have been even after paid transfers.

1v1 matches every other week have been suggested and I think are a great idea to switch things around. So what about 2v2 as well? The matchup possibilities are endless but probably would work best with a low-ish tier server allied with a higher tier.

Really….well..hm…its not a BAD idea. But it needs fleshed out more. And then testing, etc. If resources are available to create such a thing. Plus, that could create more of a culling issue with one more server.

What about larger matches, like 5v5, that way smaller servers can gang up on the monsters.

Likely way too much work as entirely new maps would have to be built and they have already stated how extremely labor intensive that is.

Actually, it could still work with the maps we have, just eternal would have to be a home borderland technically.
Using yb and tc vs. Fa and cd;

Map 1, yb home. Main spawn is where yb and tc show up, fa and cd have the same starting points as usual.

Map 2, fa home map. Fa and cd spawn at one point together, yb and tc seperate.

Map 3, cd home world. Cd and fa spawn at one point, yb and tc at their own 2 seperate.

Eternal bg, tc home world. Yb and tc start at one point together, fa and cd seperate.

And if giving eternal to one group is unfair, the copy and paste a fourth map.

The only other problem i forsee is pairing up a high pop ser er with low, could exclude those on the low with ques.
