After a few days doing DBL for fun (nobody else from my server does it).
I can say it is easy when they have air and fire. as a nightcapper it is difficult to take a keep there, all the defender npc are beter build and with them you can always defend your keep. i think it’s good that they are on red.

you can still take all the keeps fairly easily with 2 people…maybe 1? never tried. I know all towers are solo-able except (for me at least) that kitten necro/minion kitten .

I can solo all 4 towers and I’ve duo Earth and Fire keeps. Never got anything at Air with less than 5 tho. The CC fiesta is too strong.

Dbl had a queue today on my server. Seems to be the go-to for organized guild groups, at least in T3 EU. It was busy.

Yes! I’m loving this. This is what happens when Anet decides to let everyone vote for the options to keep DBL or not. I’ll bet alot of PvE’ers voted to keep DBL without spending alot of time in WvW.

Maybe time to realise that there should be a minumum WvW rank requeried before one can vote? Let’s say 2k.

I can solo everything in DBL with scrapper, air keep being the hardest. With rev I have some issues with fire keep. All keeps are easy with Hammer DH with heal trap. Done Air keep with full cele ele but it took ages.

I like they brought the borders back tho, they should still adress the upgrade speed issues, SM and DBL upgrading way too fast.

anet already said that nearly everyone that votes in the polls plays wvw on a regular basis.

You know what is funny? I’m almost sure that PvE players voted against it simply because they don’t care about WvW and they don’t want Arena Net to “waste time” with it (like one dude posted in this forum). Maybe the people that voted aren’t harcore WvW’ers, but honestly, trying to attend to a small portion of hardcore players over their casual majority would be a shot on their foot.

Fire become quite easy once you realize that her cc break on stairs…

In my experience that kittening teleporting ogre is more annoying to fight than all the keep lords.

Annoying is definitely the right word. I haven’t tried soloing air keep but I did everything else during the dbl’s first go astound. Nothing was particularly challenging but everything was extremely annoying. Way to much cc.
