Long ago Anet had a livesteam “for WvW”. of course there was no new content or notable announcements but a dev (grouch I think although I could be wrong) announced that there would be a Cdi this week, its already friday and no word on the cdi.

So were we intentionally deceived or was it a miscommunication/wrong information on the part of the dev?

Short answer…
Yes.

You have to realize that the WvW Dev Team is “outmanned”, there’s only so much so few can do.

More likely they are waiting until the reward chest bug is 100% fixed.

Why would you care if there is a CDI or not? Possibly you didn’t participate in any of the previous three CDIs devoted to WvW (the first one being 8 months ago), but those of us who did know that nothing ever comes from them … not even ANet-promised summaries of best ideas for further consideration.
