There are to many kitten in this game. They cant beat u 1 on 1 what they do send 2 more, and get wiped. So what they do send 6 more kitten.

Seems unfair, but if they can’t beat ya, getting reinforcements is the obvious answer. What do you expect? I mean, it is a battlefield. (I hate it too, just sayin’.)

They bring more? You bring EVEN MORE!

This is open field PvP, there’s no fairness about it.

I guess when you are so l33t with your thief you just scare people off

If you want to Duel, then go spvp … Only a fool stays to fight if you getting beaten in WvW ..
Either run away or call for friends… No need to feed the ego/kitten of a cheese class roamer.

They can’t go sPvP because people use same builds there.

Our job is to kill you, not fight fairly. If you want fair, go to Spvp.

Other people don’t play GW2 just to feed roamer ego. If roamers are being pests, they’ll get squashed.

And not everyone runs small-scale/dueling builds, which is a huge disadvantage in a 1v1. Do you feel good about beating them when they are designed to be supportive?

Forget small scale. A Guild group of ~23 can scare a map blob after a couple of fights to the point they just Run away as soon as they see you. Happening a lot more often these days that larger groups run away and Way point out of sight. Looking at you AM!

1v1 puts my stacks at risk.

When i’m running solo (and i almost always do) i expect to die…a lot. But that’s fine for me. We often are outmanned on at least 1 map, that’s where i roam because there are no repair costs. I like attacking bigger groups, even zergs, and trying to lure some players out of it (can’t expect 1v1, always expect at least 1v2/3).

If the whole group chases after me and doesn’t give up on it, i’m dead. I’m mesmer, i use traveler runes, but they are still faster than me most of the time.

If i want fair 1v1 duels, i go to the Obsidian Sanctum arena. And in this area, i expect 1v1 and i know those of the other servers who also do will not intefere if i kill someone who disturbed a duel.

You have won a battle….browse these forums, the WAR rages on.

You would rather see them coming back for more not able to beat you and get stomped 30 times? I dont know anyone who plays like that, but I can see that it would please you very much.

I’ll go back several times to figure out what the persons build and tactics are. After a few attempts then I know my build just isn’t enough and call for help. Unfortunately, if someone is in a “FotM” roaming build, with full ascended gear and stacks, it’s highly unlikely you’ll to take them out. The advantages from power creep has been taken too high now.

Not really sure why people either discuss or complain about 1v1 in WvW. It’s open world PvP. If I see a 1v1 situation going on, I don’t stand back picking my nose, I rush in and attempt to flatten the enemy.

OP, if you happen to be either beating or being beaten up in a 1v1, I could care less, you’d still be eating a mouth-full of arrows either way if I’m around lol.

i love to bring 5 thieves to gank soloers. especially warriors. makes them so angry.

I have to laugh when I see someone getting upset about that, its kinda no different than the reality of life. And that reality is that life isn’t fair, never will be, no one signed any gentlemens agreement saying they wont interfere and such.

I mean serious just accept you got killed, I mean if they had to bring more to deal with you take it as a compliment. Or you could take it as you were worth their time. Not everyone is there to play the game your way.
