i played WvW for the first 3 year exclusively every night. Then we got the level system i played again and again. With HoT i played less WvW to do raiding and the new content but still had at elast 2/3 days/week on WvW.

I play Pvp only when guildies want to play in group for the fun of being together in it. I am level 2646 in WvW and real avenger at 112k none in edge of the mist. i was not even ranked in the last pvp season with 6 match only.

Today i was able to craft a legendary piece of armor from the Pvp one. I still do not have enough ressources to craft any of the mcm one.

5 years vs a few days and i can craft one pvp piece and not the mcm one…..

i am happy with the armor comming and happy with the glidding but i feel that people with long overdue of rewards after 4.9 years without ANYTHING should have been given a little push here like a special discount for level 1000, level 2000, level 3000 etc..

Maybe. The realms should had long time rewards attached to loyalty: all legendary items and more, special skins after every 1+ year of loyalty, flags, emblems, shining glory for guilds and many more. Balancing would have been easier that way, giving extra incentives to losing realms, making it most profitable game mode, while also most competitive. Could have been the best RvR ever…

Higher ranks get a discount in terms of time. No, it’s not ideal, but it is something.

discount in time but big wvw’ers will hit the max long before the reset making this discount not a real one as you will earn no tickets the last 3 days making the time discount irrelevant for WvW addicts.

But people new to the mode will still need to spend over 40 hours a week to max tickets. If those of us who are higher rank need a couple of days off for family/school/vacation/work, then we can still max them.
